We have at least one other in the Marina that has been associated with film boats. Herbert Munster is here (no, not that big guy!). Herb crewed on the HMS BOUNTY for 13 years during part of its film days. I have been on the Bounty and Pride of Baltimore II while both were docked in Milwaukee side by side one July fourth year. I can't remember which year. Both have sunk since. Hmmm.... maybe I shouldn't tell that to the Disney film crew! In '82, I worked for Jack Lemmon as a house/grounds guard at his home... on Benedict Canyon Dr HOLLYWOOD. On his wall was a Disney quote. It went something like.... A man's worth is not measured by the amount of money in his bank account but the amount he can offered to lose. TTC

Jack is the most down to earth person I know, maybe even in Hollywood. True story: Jack came out onto the patio and asked for my help. He owns (owned? RIP) a nice little stone bungalow on the side of Benedict Canyon. 5 acres, very small pool He needed help moving some cement-potted trees around. His wife came out (she is from a Latino country) and directed us to move this one there (Yes Ma'am, he said). This one there (Yes M) that one there to here (Yes M). After finishing.... and listening to no less than 12 Yes Ma'ams, she announced we were done and walked into the house. I noticed that we were right back to where the trees were AT THE START! Mr. Lemmon turned too me and said, The f...... bit.... ! It took me about 10 minutes to figure out that they PLAYED ONE ON ME! Probably did it to all the security! I enjoyed working for him. Actually, I followed my ex (and son) out there but it didn't work out. Orange County Sheriff accepted my application but I went back to Milwaukee to become a cop again. TTC

Well, well, well...... I DID say don't touch that dial..... new situation is unfolding as we speak. I just sent my address to the rep so she can send the contract for signing. filming of a certain "prop" will be on Nov 12, 13, and 14th. The film will be called Tomorrowland. I will ask her to RENAME the film ROLLERCOASTER RIDE!!!!! TTC

Heck man, my bass boat is a truck inter tube with a Styrofoam ice chest pulled behind it.
