Actually called Colburn Island...but the nickname "Skull" stuck...since that was found first thing on the deserted shore!

Is that an 18ft Bayliner Open Fisherman ?

I once took mine from miami to bimini bahamas. I was supposed to go with 2 other guys but at the last minute they had something else to do. ( chickened out).

Ha! Speaking of reptiles...this bouldered shore has the largest water snakes & gardner snakes I've seen....and I've seen a lifetime of em'.
Luckily...no rattlers yet!!

Yes, my Buddy has a Yamaha 100 on it. Beautiful ride!!...Not many fella's want to go with us as well...Great Lakes, North Channel is known for being "unforgiving" waters.

The bayliner is a great boat in the open water. I crossed over the gulf stream in rough water and my boat was just fine. Coming back to florida was even easier because the weather calmed down a bit. The guys at the dock in bimini were in shock that i took a little 18 footer across the open sea.
