I haven't checked anything yet. Was thinking to take it to a collector and find out. I saw some other replies that say its modern so I'm not sure

There are SO MANY cool finds that get show-cased in this show-&-tell section EVERY SINGLE DAY. This has been discussed many times. If there were an exact formula, is the day that everyone would be clamoring to achieve those criteria. And if the banner were granted all-too-often, it would loose it's status allure. Ie.: "Banner inflation". Doh !

Ie.: It's never simply "a gold coin" or "the oldest date", or "the person with the most or least posts", or "the coolest story/video", or "the coolest history" (who determines THAT?) etc....

It’s an ounce of silver, that’s it.
I have three silver rings which may be an ounce, is that bannerworthy? NO

Where was it found? Where did it come from? Is it rare?

Do research find out. Tell us the whole story.
Just a pic of a find rarely is a banner to me. ( however, it’s not my decision)

Awesome silver find. I only vote banner for gold coins or extremely rare coins/finds from Europe and things that have significant historical value.
