Barber Half!!!!!! and another Merc!

Went back over to the little town nearby that I found the seated dime in last week intending on hitting a few more sidewalk strips. I never got the chance to
because as soon as I got out of my truck the house across the street caught my eye, it looked pretty old to me so I went over and knocked on the door and got
permission to hunt it.

The lady was real nice and told me it was built in 1890, so I was hoping for something old.

Once I started hunting it the third target ended up being a nice little 1939 Merc,when I flipped the plug, I didn`t even have to pinpoint it as I could see it in the plug.

Right there I figured I might have a good yard so kept on going. Ten minutes later I got a strong 29-30 that kept high toning and spiking up to 35 so when I
dug the hole and got the plug out, I still wasn`t down to it, the pinpointer was going nuts, so I after digging a bit more I saw what looked like it could be a
half dollar down there! It was deep, must have been about 10" or so.

After I got it out of the hole I ran to the truck to get some water on it an once I cleaned it off a bit I saw the eagle looking at me, I was thinking I got a walker,
but it turned out to be a 1905-s Barber!!

I didn`t realize it until I got home, but I just completed my Barber set, I have the quarter, dime and now the half!!

After that I found three wheats, and a bank token to finish out the morning, I don`t think I quite got half the yard finished, can`t wait to go back in the
morning and see what else awaits!

The quarter was the first one I got! I was never expecting the dime and the half within two weeks, wow!

We just never seem to learn, do we. I keep telling that these coins we find do not *want* to be found!! Better walk around with one eye on that necklace *ALL* the time!
