Cabinboy,
Welcometo the fray.
that is a pretty cool pair of crossing quartz seams.
I would say it is a natural at this point.
The Spanish did use naturals to make signs but unless there are other signs to confirm this one I would say no.

Thanks for sharing an awesome picture.

Hey, Old Dog, what exactly is your idea of the meaning of that old hag you posted?
And, NO, I would not believe it's an old girlfriend. :laughing7:

No not an old girl friend.
Off the top of my head a face like this looks at a cache that may or may not still be there.
The open mouth is characteristic of an open hole or tunnel.

Re: Basic Spanish signs and symbols you have found

The weather has turned here,
It started snowing lightly last night. There was about 3/4 inch when I went to bed.
This morning there is a foot plus and still snowing and blowing hard.
on the lee side of the house the drift is two feet and growing because of the wind.
the temps are staying below freezing but have warmed up to the upper 20s . This last week they were staying around 0.
Outside the valleys they are predicting as much as 1 to 5 feet of snow, and the wind makes whiteout conditions.
Folks using snowmobiles to get to work. LOL
all this precipitation is a novel thing for this area.
usually the average overall precip is 10 inches or less. that includes snow!
So this is a monumental one.

Say, Old Dog. Does "Western Colorado" mean Grand Junction; or Rifle?

Maybe I am the lucky one lol. New page for me? We will see.

Thom..that is an awesome face. I don't know..it keeps reminding me of this. I guess the chin portion.

This points to 17 tons of go...err..well it is used I think as a trail marker generally.

Re: Basic Spanish signs and symbols you have found

Hi Everyone, The quarts X in my pix does look natural if you could see the surrounding ground but i couldn't help myself. it looked so perfect! It is located very close to another landmark thats been known to draw thousands of people to it. I'am sure some of you will recognize it. A fun place to visit.
