beach advice for a beginner?

I'm new to MDing but am going to beach on the 15th. Somewhere between Pawley Island, SC and Vero Beach FL, depends on weather where I stop. Just purchased an MXT PRO and would like any tips or advice you may offer.

Oh- you mean the sand shark, sorry.

I like it. You dig and dig, you sure dig a lot and dig deep. It doesn't miss anything. I mean NOTHING. Put some good Neo magnets in your scoop. They help keep the small iron from falling thru the small holes because you WILL dig everything and dig it from the DEEP.

I've followed some pretty fancy machines in the water, and I'll find everything they miss. When they discriminate out the foil, they miss the small gold, because it sounds like foil/pull tabs to them. When you find nickels and pull tabs, you will find all the gold they miss.

Lifetime warranty. I've had my sand shark since 2001 or so. Earphone died on one side. Sent it in. They sent it back, no cost, with some tweaks and upgrades and new headphones and paid the shipping back. Can't beat that!
