Beach yields a big "cookie" with a surprise inside

Worked the negative tide this morning and got a surprise of sorts... Hit a target that just about blew my headphones off Dug down only one scoop to find a nice size "cookie". The sand that encrusted the coin actually broke away pretty easily. Certainly wasn't expecting to find one of these there. With a date no less

Wow. Nice coin! I don't think I've ever seen a beach-found Walker. Way cool.

Definitely a UNIQUE find. Not too many of those being found, and at the beach of all places.

Good score.

Congrats Joe! That is a heavyweight silver coin! Are you going to try to clean it up? It's funny because I saw how low the tide was this morning and the first thing that came to mind was Joe G in the beach!
