Perhaps we can add a member-compiled guide to help new people. Perhaps unbiased views on metal detectors, places to hunt, cleaning techniques, and such. Plus, it can include bottle hunting, coin collecting, and links to helpful websites.

When I first joined T-Net, I was reading every post and trying to absorb it all. Having all the "newbie" information in one spot would be a great thing.
