Looks like it has a bit of age and is a bit torn up but what is it? (it is a bracelet) solved

My guess gold plated military shoulder epaulets?

Not quite enough metal there for me to think epaulets really , any other ideas? Maybe bracelet is a possible ?

Since it is made of metal and shaped like a group of ropes, I think it was part of a drapery tie-back. It also could have been on some type of statue/decorative piece, butI think it is part of a tie-back.

Interesting find :)
