Especially when the topic goes off on tangents not even related to the original topic. It's like this. Six years ago the same topic was discussed over and over again. Yet now we you are worried about ONE MORE going on YouTube. It doesn't matter if he puts it on there. One more isn't going to make a difference.
Like the other poster said, he wanted to find out how to separate metal for scrap. Do you think other scrappers are mad that info is out there?
I have actually seen less hunters in my area. The good scores on average are long gone. When new hunters come in and see the silver isn't flowing the don't last long.
This isn't a get rich hobby. That's the thing to remember, it's a hobby and if someone else does it in your area they aren't stealing food from your families mouths. They just want to enjoy the same great hobby you do. Yet, especially in this season of giving, all I hear are people discussing this in the tone of greediness. If this statement makes you angry then maybe that is just a little guilt showing through.

Everything you said is all well and good - until you talk to some of the hunters on here who have had long lasting relationships ended because of some noobie ordering 10 boxes and then returning them to the same bank.

Ahem, look back to the very beginning of the thread, there is a new member who got the impression that we were being "uptight" and "unimpressionable", we had to show him that this forum is welcoming him with open arms. this is how we here at t-net give a warm welcome, at least in the crh'n forum. in the metal detecting forum, you're lucky if you get one reply let alone one page. what I was talking about was a thing called humor. We are talking about the addictiveness o' these things, showcasing how crh'n is also addictive, if anything we portray these things in a negative light not a positive one, thereby discouraging their usage.

I says it once and i says it again, 50 cent don't drink or do drugs. only an occasional ciiiiii-gar from time to time.
