We went to CWB this morning and as you all know it is NOT one of my favorite places to hunt. My daughter tells me that it is my own fault because I start out with a negative attitude when we go down there. She is probably right. I do actually start grumbling that I'm not going to find anything every time we get in the car to drive down there.

I had the water all to myself for about an hour and then a couple more water hunters showed up. I spoke in passing to one of them but the other turned away as I got near so I took the hint. I got very few hits even though the beach has been very busy the last week or so. I got a total of 5 hits in 3 hours. The first one was a dime an that took me almost 45 minutes to find that! My next hit came pretty close to that... and it was BIG DRUM ROLL HERE!.... I FOUND A RING! IN THE WATER! AT CWB! AT LAST! Ahhhh well don't get too excited because it is just a small 925 silver ring but WHAT THE HAY..... IT'S A RING.... FOUND IN THE WATER! AT CWB! Yeahhhhh!

I guess now I have to change my attitude about CWB! ;D

Mumzie, ya done good. I spent 3 hours at the beach today and found 11 cents, so you are way ahead of me. Nice ring find, and in the water too. That is awesome. That wet suite will pay for itself before you know it. hh, Ralph

I would been happy to find a silver ring no matter where I hunt, I don't always need to find a gold ring to excite me, good job for sticking to the spot that you think is aways going to be a waste of time :hello2:
