DEVILS CANYON on Discovery Channel.

Been a little while since I've been around. Got moved to the night shift at work and that has really hindered my prospecting and I've been on vacation the last couple of weeks. Well yesterday I got an email from Discovery Channel about when the teaser/trailers will be airing for the show I will be on called "Devils Canyon". First one is on May 17th during the airing of "The Last Alaskans". I am nervous like you wouldnt believe. It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. 6 weeks completely alone in the British Columbia bush, surviving and mining gold. No film crew, just me, filming myself the entire time. You get me, in the raw struggling like I have never done before.

But how did "The Goose" react............(you should have seen the people in the park......LOL!)

Absolutely the best show on tv! Goose thinks on his feet, makes great decisions, works hard and gets the gold!

Goose you said it's your claim? I hope you are planning on going back with help and without the rules and restrictions of tv producers.

I don't see how they're getting him his breakfast and lunch nor where empties end up. Floating them down the river?

I dont know just yet. 6 episodes for season 1. Im still on the fence about doing season 2. You guys are only getting a VERY small insight to everything that happened out there. It was BRUTAL. Hardest thing Ive ever done in my life. Mentally and physically. This is next level stuff. We were alone out there. Help was hours away if anything went wrong.

But we wont know anything for at least a couple weeks.

Yes, the producers were recruiting candidates/victims?! For season 2 a couple months ago...stay tuned!

This was the first TV show that I've seen in the last 4 months, I'm glad that I broke down and watched
Great show Goose
But... that bear, lol... hehe, I've had one lay down and sleep next to me, which was ok. But she kept trying to push me off my foam sleeping pad and take it for herself, so I gave in and we shared the warmth, it was nice. I went back to sleep and she took off before daylight a few hours later. Black bears are basically harmless and good humored, most of the time... And they make great jerky
We picked up a trailer February 23th and have been living in it out in the woods all over the US ever since. They used one of Karen's pics of us out in the bush in their new add and we're about 75 yards from a good gold bearing stream, pulling out nuggets here and there

LOL! Not a celeb by any stretch. And if you stop by the Devils Canyon Facebook page, there are a TON of haters out there claiming they know right where we were, talking crap, etc. So I am pretty sure I aint a celeb. LOL!
