Searching for Pirate treasure in Madagascar

I am planning to go to Madagascar in the near future to search for pirate treasure. Does anyone know about the laws on land-based treasure hunting there? I couldn’t find any details online. Also, any advice on treasure hunting would be awesome! Thanks!
