Hey all, been real busy, but important message:

DON'T CLICK ON THOSE EBAY EMAIL PROMOTIONS!

I say this because, the hackers are REAL good. I got an ebay offer yesterday, said I could open a store for 4 months for the low price of $5.95 a month, just click here...... well, that little voice inside that says, "it's a trap", LOL....... soooo
I click on "My Ebay" messages on the ebay site, sure a sugar, NO EMAIL from ebay on there.
So I call them, they say they DID NOT send me that email and to forward it to their spoof dept, don't click on it, etc......done.

Watch and be very very careful of any promotions that come from Paypal or Ebay, or even Etsy. Never click the email links! If the email is legit, it will be on that sites notifications, go to the site to accept the offers, do not do it through your email. Only accept offers from Ebay at "My Ebay" messages.
Just a heads up, as I got 2456 more listings, in my 2500 free bin offer, to go.

yeah, I have used 75 of my 2,500 free. Nice since they last 30 days. I was out of free listings too, so saved $15 in fees... well more like $5 since I prob would not have re-listed many if it was not free.

Well, I better update ya'll..... Right after mignight, I got the same message in my ebay messages, so I'm guessing maybe it is legit.
At this point, I still probably won't click on it, until I do call them again and confirm. Yesterday they didn't know they sent it, maybe today they will know more, idk, LOL.

Hey, better safe, than sorry, especially when it comes to these nasty hackers and virus mess!

I have noticed ebay messages come in several hours after the email pretty often.

Crossed over the 100 mark and am at 104 sales now. Best month so far total sales, total gross and total net.

80+ listings and relists with the promo over the last few days, which is needed to keep my items up. I still have too many to list, but I am catching up finally.

Good news is two of the sales I got yesterday were old items. One I had up for 10 months and the other 8 months! I almost took them down to put in a generic lot of polo shirts.

Moving old things is the best Justin. Congrats on passing 100! I took pictures of 16 lots that I need to get on before February ends. We will see.

Wow! I have missed a lot! I have been busy at work and so I haven't listed any but I have picked up some watchers on some DEAD inventory. Seems I'll have most of the weekend off and I will list some more parts. I need a break lol!

Glad to see you're back DieselRam. I listed 13 this morning, and used the rest of my listings. I think I'll get rid of a few more slow listings to save listings. I have more to list in the new month and more to get ready to sell. I hope March is better than February. Of course my lack of listings played a part in that. Justin, I'm sure you're hoping March is better as well.

2 weeks ago I put the tiny oil paintings on - 7 day auction (Sunday to Sunday) , starting price $120.00 . The auction ended with no bids . I thought it would be a good idea to re-list them . The only edit I did was I dropped the price to $100.00 . They sold this morning , 32 bids , winning bid $864.00 . I think the tv show may have helped me .

Congrats mojjax. Sounds like you probably made a heck of a return.

I sold 61 items for February & have 2 sales for March. February was my first month with a store. I'm trying to keep 50+ BIN & do 10 or more auctions a week. So far so good.

I just took the Ebay store plunge, myself, today. Yay, I think......
I may have gave myself a bunch of new stuffs to learn. I kept my same name, in case I go back.
I took the 4 mnth for $5.95.

I sold 1 today, wanna list tonight/this eve.....Have/had 89/90 up, only 10 for Feb sold. Did make some sales in person, though.
It counts in my book.....

That's great man. Timing was perfect for you. All it took was 2 people in a bidding war, 3rd bidder dropped out at $205.



I listed 7 more today. I have bids on 4 at the moment. Sold 38 in the last 3 weeks.

Ended Feb with 115 sales. Have 3 so far for March.

I have as much profit at this point of the year as I did at the end of August last year (I started selling right around end of Dec/Early Jan in 2014). Obviously, much more listings now than I had most of those months, but still happy with the increase!

Right there with you Justin, it's a steep learning curve but I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of it. Final tally for me for February is 13 sales, which isn't much compared to some, but I averaged $60/sale, which I think is pretty awesome! Getting ready to list some stuff tonight.

I had my biggest month since I can remember! 168 sold with 27 sold so far this month. Biggest $ wise as well, which is good now that sports are starting for the kids... Football and track.... Kiss it all goodbye!!

The antique store I stopped at today they said February was the best month I've ever had. They have been open here for 15 years and they are the biggest in our area. And I contributed to their sales this month also so they may have a really good March as well!
