I have been hunting hard for several days getting several days of footage together to make some videos using the Minelab CTX3030.. Saturday, I headed to a spot that I had hunted a long time ago and haven't found anything there in a while.. I started out on the east side of the property and my first target was a 1905 Indian Head cent.. Later I found a second 1905 when moving over into the homeplace's yard.

I found a few relics including a silver plated spoon. After going over the spots that I had hunted before, I decided to asked the landowner if I could hunt in the yard... Man that was the best decision I have made in a long time..
My first target was a thimble from the O.B. Macaroni company. Click this O.B. Link to see the History of this company that started back in 1899.
My next target was a small decorative item, as I was moving my detector, I heard a high tone and checked it.. It sounded good, so I marked it and finished the dig... After filling my hole back in, I moved over to the marked signal, and pinpointed.. It hit 12-41 then changed to 12-44.. The next thing I know is a huge flash of silver!!!

I just about lost it... So after texting my bud's about the Morgan, I moved back up the other side of the sidewalk and another loud tone came in at 11-42...I wasn't prepared for the second biggest silver that came out next!

I was pretty much ruined after that.. I hung around a little longer, but was pretty much done.. Here is the total finds for the day.

I did manage a few newer wheat's by a swing set post.. I can honestly say haven't had a big silver day like this in a long time.. Hope you enjoy the post and the video..

I know the feeling bud.. shocked me to find one, I knew there was a chance by the story the landowner told me but still causes the shakes when you see it come out of the ground..

Dear God that is a good hunt..

Wow, nice silvers

I chuckled when you said that you better sit down for a minute after seeing the silver dollar in the plug on your well done video. I am quite sure I said those exact same words when I found my 1866-s Seated Liberty Half dollar several years ago. Would probably need to lay down if I found a Morgan like yours....nice job for sure. Then to find the Barber Half dollar very shortly afterwards.........awesome day! Gold Nuggets :hello:

A big morgan is still on my wish list....HH

Some very nice finds ya got there.Good show............................:icon_thumleft:

Wow some really nice finds, I envy you guys that can dig in the soft ground, here in NM it's been so dry,I would have needed a pick ax to get it out of the ground

Congrats on the huge silver. It's an awesome feeling, I'll never forget when I found my Morgan!!
