My new heavy iron etrac program produced this Canadian dime love token in Kentucky. the pic of the nails and small roof bits next to the hole was too dark to use. Wanted one of the these for a long time. Relic coin combo! HH

beautiful. love tokens are really awesome. I can only imagine how cool it is to dig one.

And it is quite nicely done too.

A little far from home.

The token part looks better done than the obverse. Congrats on one sweet find.

That's cool ! I found one last year made from an old Canadian siver also.

Very nice find...that's something that is still on my list!

Still on my list too. Yours is very ornate. Congratulations, Beercanman!

Really cool looking carving on that one! I saw a neat love token at our metal detecting club meeting last night. Crazy to see two in two days. Congrats!

20 years of diggin and I'm still looking for one! I hunted Kentucky for years, and dug many nice finds, but no love token. Great find!

What are your settings for your iron program?

Great find....not many of those pop up.....do a google on love tokens....interesting history to those pieces.

My program is a modified version of the sabiche coin program. Most of the mods are at the top allowing 1-28 + and a few more lines allowed at bottom. I could send or post the exact if u want. It allows large iron to false and let's a lot of hidden conductive targets through.

Congrats on a pretty love token. Would love to see a close up of the token face. Very cool.

(Found my first love token just a few weeks ago. Totally unexpected.)

Nice recovery.
Never saw one with just a design, looks like a circlip :hello2:
young Vickie so it's between '57-'83..
I'd guess one of the earlier dates.
a lot of effort went into the engraving,
strange the pin attachment work was so crudely done
Nice to cross that one off :occasion14:

The attachment point was on the 12 o'clock position in photo one. The ding on the right side I think is from the plow

The t in Victoria is in the 12 o'clock position in photo one. You can see remnants of a ring
I see, thought all three dark areas were solder...
Do you think the image is an elongated letter 'C'
often seen in Victorian era script/manuscript ??

I'm not sure but I think that's the best explanation. I thought it was an o for sure until I cleaned it and saw the break in the circle
