Got my Ace 250 yesterday and after reading the book, watching videos, bench testing, and playing in the yard a little I headed out to a park in my area today. BTW: Really like the 250..functions and controls were very easy to understand and learn. Still got some work to do with it but very satisfied so far.
Found a ton of pull tabs but every so often I would hit on a coin. Nothing too special but the 1966 quarter pictured below was close. Couldn't get to some of my hits as the ground was like concrete. Will be better after a rain.
Worked my way into a little sandy children's playground and got a good hit at the base off a slide. Started pulling back the sand, heard a little click with my blade and then saw a little glint of gold...first trip out and found my first ring..lol...really didn't think it was gold but after getting it home and cleaning a little saw a 10K stamp on the inside...Maybe not much but sure made my day.
I'm also sure the person that lost the keys had a headache for a while...
Here is my little finds..thanks for looking...
