Forget The "maybe"Gold Ring i Found--- THIS IS BETTER!!!

Went digging in the same place i did last night .. about the same time, right before it gets to dark.. Found a bunch of clad,.. Found my first pocket spill, the hole was 4'' down ,had 7 coins in it.. ! Pretty cool.. then i stumble over a nice signal real real deep.... I started digging , metal detector was saying 50c piece.. so i went for it.... After digging down 9 inches!!! my trowel hits metals, i said to myself "hope it aint nothing good" but i was wrong..... I put a scrape in a 1890 ( 0 ) Morgan Silver Dollar !!!!!!!!!!!!! I jumped up in the air and toook off to find my camera an send you guys some pics of this thing... Beautiful coin,, simply amazing find... I dont know if ill ever top this...

You can see the trowel scrape on the top right of the coin , first picture,,, sooo sad....

Nice! Love the fact that you got it with a 250 too! Awesome find! Unfortunately my 350 says 1 dollar coin all the time and it's usually a whole pop can...lol. Keep up the good digging!

WTG, Beautiful coin The scrape mark isn't that bad at all. I've done and seen much worse.

I wonder why all of the devices of the coin (lettering, eagle, rims, mint mark, Lady Libery) are clean yet all of the fields are dark??

its not dark dark... the picture kinda makes it look worse.. but i polished it up with some silver cleaner stuff

the dip you can buy from wal-mart comes in a red container. The ground where i found it was reallly reallly easy to dig up , im thinking this hasnt been in the ground 120 years.. probably half that or less...
