General Service Pewter US Button

Been hitting a new site pretty hard and was starting to think I'd gotten most of the high tones. I ventured away from where the home site was to try and switch things up but it became mostly silent. Got a scratchy tone and figured it was the best sounding thing in a while so I dug it and I'm happy I did! From my research I think it's a General service button from 1808 - 1830s. Did several laps around the hole but this was all that turned up.

Yes! Definitely Federal circa 1814. Got similar on the other side of the pond, known as Lake Champlain...
