GIANT Eagle wing and US marked item DEEP!!

Found these things in the Reale and Capped field. Anyone recognize the US item or large wing the wing was nearly 12" down...very cool digging up but I have no idea what they are.

The bit boss is CW. A buddy of mine found a wing like yours on his first ever hunt (with my machine!). There were lots of flat buttons and pistol bullets in the area so I think it was CW also. I'm thinking it is a wing from the eagle on a flag pole but I could be wrong...just ask my wife! Nice finds!

The "US" item is a Bit Boss--and I think the wing is from a flag. Those are Excellent finds.

Hey Danny,
The oval piece with the two small holes in it looks like a piece off a Civil War Saddle.
You have a pretty good area there and I would give it a going over again.

You know, on second thought...the wing may not be CW if it's Zinc--which is what it looks like. Can you tell what it's made of?

I am in middle Tennessee hunting our farms of about 1K acres. I am not sure what the wing is made of, but I can tell that it is not brass....also after you guys explained what the bit boss is I researched a little and found this pic.....very cool.
