Good Quick Hunt Produces A First For Me

[Ricardo_NY1]

June has not been a productive month for me, so starting this morning, I am picking up the slack by going out there before work. That was the case today and I brought in two more silver coins. The first was a mercury dime, and after rescanning the hole with my probe, it sounded like there could be another item in there. I pulled out what I thought was a wheatie, and into the clad bag it was going to go...........but I looked at it a second time and saw what I knew was an Indian Head. No big deal for most..........but for me it is a definate first. I don't even know what they sound like or come up as on my machine. I finally have one I can test out.

Nice Rick!!I did'nt think this park was old enough for IH's,but that is a great sign maybe we can pull out a Barber.

[dgaughan]

congrats on your first indian head good luck and hh

[Admiral de Salee]

Congratulations, I hope it's the first of many I.H.es for you.

A first is a first, like the no-date Buff I dug up recently. It's like the old joke where the guy asks, "How's your wife?", and you say, "Better than nothing..".

GREAT JOB!! I've always been an indian fan.

Good job on the IH! I've only ever found one myself. It is one of my favorite coins, too, and I can't wait to find another.

Good luck and HH!
