How old is everyone

73 years by the calender. Old on the outside, but young on the inside with all that experience stacked inside. Some days I wake up and I am really73 and other days I wake up and I am back in my 20's. I can still hop in my mini MH and put 600mi. a day on it cross country and you can bet I sleep well each nite after that! Its keeping the mind active that counts. If you sit in that rocker on thr porch to long, you will surly rot away!

58 years old,
detecting for about 20 years,
bottle and relic hunting for about 40 years.

Happy Trails to all of you,
Enjoy each and every day

I'm turning 16 this august. (getting an early start).

In October I will celebrate the 31st anniversary of my 29th birthday! I have been relic hunting, on and off, for over 35 years.

turning 48 soon been detecting for a little over three years

47 going on 18. My hobbies wax and wane over the years. In my younger days it was big wall climbing, then white water paddling got thrown into the mix, then big wall climbing sort of faded, and drag racing motorcycles got thrown in the mix, then paddling sort of morphed into guiding, and drag racing faded. On and on and on through dozens of hobbies over the years. The only thing that never disappeared was my love for the river, which is what morphed into my current hobby of seeking gold. It started with my curiosity in the streams as I'd take a break, and that first big 1/4 ounce nugget I found just digging around in the river bed with my hands hooked me. Now I've got a GMT and swing it as often as I can. Summer's almost on us though, and I'll be spending all my time in the streams, mostly looking for gold instead of paddling or guiding... Change is a certainty with me.

just turned 60 and have about 60 hours in this hobby and on an ace 250 and now a tesoro vaquero. started with photography, then blues harmonica, fishing and have kept them all as hobbies. did professional photography, played gigs in clubs on the harmonica, still fish like there's no tomorrow but.....when i'm fishing in fresh water i fish in the early morning (just before sunrise to about 9am) and then in the late afternoon (4pm to after sunset) so....what to do between 9am - 4pm? New hobby! Dirt fishing! going on my usual jaunt to the eastern sierras and will be hunting for stuff during that break period. works for me! dan

The doctor did say I have the body of an 18 year old. Unfortunately it's one of those 18 year olds that dress all in black leather and sniff a lot of paint. Actually the only thing different from now and 1969 is I went from a 29x34 in pants to a 30x34.

Well thank God for small favors. I was thinking I was the only old coot in here. I turned 74 this past January and still feel like I'm in my 30's, (most of the time.)
Got my first metal detector back in the 60's (Bounty Hunter, Red Baron.)

Though I don't look or feel my age, I am finding that the squatting, digging and getting back up takes a toll on my legs. Maybe if I didn't spend so much time sitting, making silver jewelry, my legs would be in better shape.(?)
