I went digging yesterday and it was in the mid 20's out. Found a nice quartz point so it was well worth it. Roofing all day today, which was absolutely no fun.

You look really happy in the picture where the cigarette is frozen to your lip. Lol! A few weeks back you told me that I was hard core. That made my day. I must say, you are hard core! The two of us hunting together would be triple that of an Indiana Jones adventure!



By the way, Twitch was first to notice the tracks of this large raccoon that shared the island with us. He's pretty hard core as well.

Well to tell you the truth I don't know how much longer being hardcore will pan out for me those cigarettes are killin me. I think that look on my face is my realizing I should have stayed home face...actually my son is the one being hardcore lately draggin me out in the darn snow.....hes waking me up at 7 to head out again in the morn.....I'm not feelin it...but hey gotta live before you die....in my case before the cigarettes kill me. Actually ill probably die tomarrow in the cold... whats with me and death talk today....

I recognize that look that you had. My face has held that look many times. That look is one of "I should kick my own ass for being this dumb". Last weekend was so cold that the heat in my truck actually hurt as it thawed my hands. My granddaddy told me when I was young, "if you gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough" boy was he right!

I like the poor mans way! Get rid of it! Why remove snow from one spot and place it 5 feet away from where it was?? I'm one of few southerners that can't stop for snow. I have to drive 2 miles an hour to work. My friend from NY. Laughs at my snow driving. I refuse his snow driving, I'd rather walk than die!
