I have people ignoring my posts in my Profile. How many can you get?

Lot of mistakes happen with the ignore feature due to the "ignore user" button being just below the "send a pm" button!

I am on one forum member's ignore list. This person's account was last active only 12 hours after he first registered last December. He never made a single post. He spent a grand total of 55 minutes on TNet. I don't know what I said to offend this person but it must have been EPIC!!!

I think the Ignore User button is to close to the send PM button , I know I have almost clicked it a few times by mistake.
And when I am using my Droid phone to read the site it is very easy to click the Ignore button and not even see that you did it.

That button should be moved down or made right Red and have to be clicked twice before it works , that way there will be no mistakes on pressing it. Well it would help anyway not that there would be no mistakes lol.

Is not a lowed to reply to a forum aka (detector brand) a type of ignore or just plain old banning .

Sounds like threads where only charter members can respond/ post etc.

I have one person with 2 posts from a while back ignoring me. I don't really care. My threads generally get ignored for the most part. I'll post some quality finds and get a couple replies and someone will post a clad quarter and a modern key and get 17 replies. Sometimes I feel like you have to have a certain screen name to get replies to your threads around here. Seems quite clique at times. I've posted a few items I thought were very unique and might make banner, but again, they were fairly ignored. Banner isn't such a big deal but I thought it would be cool to see some of the things I've found up there.

There are certain criteria for "banner" finds. A good story, good clear pictures,not being too new a member with few posts (although with the aforementioned things sometimes an exception is made for exceptional finds). Someone also has to say "I vote banner!"...and then it seems to snowball with everyone else.

Yeah, you're right. I was just kind of in a pissy mood when I wrote that. It doesn't get me down so much as I just wonder if I need to change the way I post. The last two weeks the hobby has become somewhat of a task. Not a good thing! I was just venting.

I never have, nor will I, "campaign" for banner. But there have been a couple finds I've made that I was quite proud of and couldn't understand why they got so few replies, not just that they didn't make banner. For instance, the etching in my avatar. To me, it's unique and something special. My fireman buckle from last year, again, quite unique and I'll probably never find one of those again, and have not seen anything like that posted. I'm not crying over it. I will continue to post my finds and those who enjoy my posts will comment (unless they're lurkers of course!).

I never have, nor will I, "campaign" for banner. CS, I didn't mean your finds were not unique or that you were campaigning for a banner, I was speaking in general, I have seen more then a couple who did campaign.... I am sure your finds far excede mine as far as being unique as I am primarily a beach hunter although I do hunt land some, I rarely find relics......
