Not sure if it has been mentioned yet, but I wonder how many people block others by mistake when clicking too low to send a private message. I just tried ignore feature and see you don't even have to confirm it. I bet there's many people who are ignoring users and don't even know it.

Good point IP. I did that once accidently, but caught my mistake. So FYI 4-H You had me ignoring you for about ten seconds til I figured out I had hit the wrong button, Sorry Buddy. So it does happen I just happen to catch my mistake.

My interpretation of "Wow, A popular Guy or Gal" is the websites way of saying that you have no one ignoring you, thus, YOU are a Popular Guy or Gal.

Hi folks, I don't wish to offend anyone and nobody has ever offended me, however, the size of this forum makes it impossible to read every post and not all of us have unlimited internet.
Saying that, if a subject does not interest me, e.g. cw relics, and someone is a prolific poster on the subject, I may put that person on ignore as the subject simply does not interest me and there is more than enough to read without a 'non interest subject.'
Secondly, if a person persistently posts 'fantasy type posts' I am not interested in that either. They either don't go out detecting, can never find anything, or are just lonely.

Why be offended if somebody blocks you? I personally couldn't give a rats....

Same thing happened to me........ since no one is ignoring you then 'Wow, what a popular guy/gal' is the default message. Meaning you are so popular that no one is ignoring you

I noticed a few time when reading my posts there were people that replied to me
that were marked "Ignored" or something to that effect and I know I didn't mark
them ignored myself. I couldn't read what they posted as a reply.
I think it could be a glitch in the website.
