I LOVE MY MORNING COFFEE

It's nothing special or fancy really.......
Just a medium blend Maxwell House, lots of sugar, and chocolate milk(for cream).
I like it hot!
How you like yours? Any special coffee connoisseurs out there?

... and like Jeff, the coffee just isn't right unless the spoon can stand upright in the cup without assistance.

I love Amaretto flavor (creamer), or used to...... I put in splash of real Amaretto in my 3rd cup, I figured it's 5:00 somewhere.......

Not sure if I can do the alcohol, 1st thing in the morning, though, lol.
I gotta go meet with the tax atty today, lol. Need to be sobber for that, lol.

I'll report back the results of the Kahlua, thanks for the tip.

lol no. I do dunk the cookies but they don't go in the coffee.

all I know otherwise, Since I switched to Deathwish, My Doctors don't worry about My Blood pressure anymore.
Before that, They used to take it several times on my Visit Questioning their Instruments & My health.

I used to have High Blood Pressure & a Very low Pulse at rest also

My Wife bought a Keuric , one cup at a time, coffee machine. I didn't think much about it when I saw it. But as I'm alone a lot and don't want to toss half a pot of cold coffee I tried it.
First, the thing makes really good coffee. I can choose all different kinds, different countries, different roasts. It's very fast. Seems about one minute for a cup maybe 2 minutes from a cold standing start. Makes tea too. 3 cup sizes.
Ok enough sales pitch. To my surprise the best I've tried so far, believe it? Is McDonald's. It's the deepest flavor and best developed.
I haven't used the big pot in a month.

I buy the darkest beans I can find, grind those beans fresh when it's time to wake my butt up, and limit myself to two cups in the morning, any more I'd stroke out.

Of note, I don't empty the unused coffee into the sink when I'm done, I save it for the garden. The grounds go into the compost bins. For one, strawberry plants love their cup of coffee too!

I might inquire with you about the medicinal affect. Was the coffee you pic'd, the one that lowers the blood pressure? Mines riding a little high and I'm fighting having to go on medication. (Trying to do it the totally healthy eating way vs. eating too much fast food and boxed sodium crap).

Hvacker, I'm may rethink that kureg thing, but I feel they're really pricey, and all that plastic cup waste. If I did only consume a cup...... I make 8-10 cups every morning. I wish I new someone that had one close by, I'd check it out.

Deep, do you know, these Cubans down here, grow it and roast it in their back yards.
I've been wanting to get a few plants myself, try my hand.
I use those big ole coffee plastic cans, to put kitchen scraps in, while I'm in the house.
The lid is tight, so I can throw stuff in it for a day or two, before taking it to the composter.

Guess we'll all see each other in the morning, with coffee.

Went to the doc a ways back. He told me I needed to cut back a little....... Told him I already did! I've gone from 4 pots a day to 3. He said "How big?" Had to help the guy off the floor after I said 12 cup pots. Seriously, If I go half a day with out, I get withdrawl headaches and you don't want to be around me. On the bright side, coffee drinkers are not drinking all the phosphoric acid, fructose etc etc by drinking soda.

OH!!! almost forgot!! My favorite is when the nurse who is so big she has a rough time getting in the exam room tells me I need to drink less coffee and adjust my diet!?!?

yes it changed after switching to Death Wish, however,
I don't want to give you bad Info.
All I'm Saying is that was My Experience.
Yes High caffeine coffee lowering Blood pressure Seems odd to me.
Raising My pulse seems more Likely to Me.
I've mentioned to My doctors Old & new of my Results,
they just smile & Shrug it off so

But in the last few years, I haven't had a Bad Checkup as far as their remarks
after the Blood Pressure Check.
I am on Meds though for 33 years.
