I had no idea. Much too young. He was a good man and I learned alot from him on here. He will be missed. My deepest sympathies go out to his friends and family. Godspeed Capt. John.

John, you will be missed by more than you realize. Rest assured that God will watch over your family and fellow firefighters. It would be an honor to shake your hand when my time comes.

Re: In Memoriam - Trk5capt

I'm really shook up. I can't even think straight right now. :'( :'( John was a fun person to know...we had some good chats in the chatroom. I do so much remember him talking of his fellow comrades who lost their lives in the Charleston fire...this was a tragic time for John for he worked side by side with all 9 firemen.

John had a vast knowledge of relics and was quick to answer many of "What is it?" questions.

He will will be missed by all who knew him at T-Net.

My heart goes to John's family.

So long, Capt'n. :-*

John... God Speed... You are a hero, and friend to many.

You were a blessing to the "What Is It" forum and this entire site...

Oh, my heart is so heavy. :'( Such a great friend with vast knowledge and a willingness to share his experiences. I will always remember Capt, he has a special place in my heart and in my memories. As sad as I am, I know the Lord has a plan.
Prayers for his family and friends.
