Aaah ! This may be fairly small.
Most places over pack though.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's a very Large Flat Envelope with a Lump :laughing7:.
Tiny things in large packages

well I'm sure they are still crying .

only surprise here, no rise in 1st. class ?

The U.S. Postal Service on Thursday proposed slight increases for mailing postcards and international letters - but wants to leave first-class "Forever" stamps at their present 49 cents.
Under a filing with the Postal Regulatory Commission, letters to international destinations would rise from $1.15 to $1.20. Postcards would rise from 34 cents to 35 cents.

The increases being proposed would become effective April 26, if the requests are granted.
On first-class mail, every ounce over 1 ounce would cost an additional 22 cents, up from 21 cents. And letters to all international destinations would go from $1.15 to $1.20.
The Postal Service said the requested price increases are the latest in a series of steps "to achieve financial stability."
"By growing volume, revenue and contribution, the Postal Service will continue to meet America's mailing and shipping needs well into the future," the agency said in a statement.

"While improving efficiency in streamlining its network and seeking legislative changes, the Postal Service must address an outdated business model," it added.

its called "last mile" shipping. business can get a discount from UPS/FED EX and those guys drop it off at the P.O. to be delivered, if they have a bunch of small stuff going to a particular place, the driver can just drop it all off at the PO and be done with it.

It is also labeled smart post in some areas, fedex gets it as far as your post office hub and then usps takes over.

Its always a heart sinker when you see its been turned over to the USPS..at least to me it is. I primarily use Amazon Prime now to buy things now, because they are always here in 2 days no matter

Granted, this was during the holidays, but it took 11 days for the package to get from Louisiana to Texas. El Paso is on the western edge of Texas, but still.... I imagine the FedEx guys aren't too careful with those "S" packages, since they know the USPS will just get the blame on the backend.
