MAP DOWSING

Did a little checking on each photo. Most seem to have some kind of metallic target 2 ft or less deep. Pic #5 there could be a coin within reach of a metal detector out a ways from the rocks in the grassy area. Pic #6 had a good signal also, at least seemed to be something of value and pic #10 also. Still short of time, busy at the moment. I should mark all the metallic signals, then nothing will be unchecked.

Hello morbiusandneo, Post # 38

Here are my thoughts on equipment--you judge a carpenter by his tools--if a man says he is a carpenter
and has no tools--how much carpentry work does he do every day?

I was supporting my daughter in college and I wanted to buy a state of the art metal detector.
If your paying your daughters college tuition at a four year college you can begin to imagin the financial pressure it created for me!

The two men I was working with one had over $ 30,000 in the bank an the other had over $ 50,000 in the bank--they told me this.
I asked them to each go in 1/3 on a high quality metal detector with me.

They told me " I will not spend any money on a metal detector until I make some recoveries!"
( I guess they were going to use a imaginary metal detector to look for caches )

How many recoveries do you expect to make with out even having a metal detector?

If you were to read some of treasure nets--outstanding --or breath taking finds--do you think they used metal detectors?
Even the more outstanding finds that never appear here--that are never published or spoken of--usually use the best state
of electronics they can get their hands on.

Take your time RED dont worrie :) But thank you for the quick look :D

The signal should be a metallic target 2 ft or less deep, but hard to tell if an ordinary coin detector can reach it.

Thank you alot RED.
Are the other Pictures clean or did you find time only for this one ?

The others had similar targets, didn't get them marked yet.

#6 and #10 photos. Whenever you dowse close in camera pics, it is quite common to locate ordinary old metallic objects besides the coins or jewelry. So, check everything out first, see what the signals were from.
