My pride and joy when I was 11

I too started early, raced them for many years, probably owned over 100, and still have three to ride around on the street just for R&R.
Ah to be 17 again!

Didn't have one of these, but the kid across the street had one. Used to druel over the '69 Apple Crate. He wouldn't even let anybody ride it. 2005013.webp

Back around 1985 I bought my son a Yamaha YZ80. I bet I spent more time on it than he did. It was built for racing and sure was fun and faaaaaast. I got him that, then myself a 250 Suzuki and a 350 Kawasaki Bighorn. Later went on to race three wheelers. Started out with the Honda 185s bored out to 205 then the 200X. Man, I miss those days. Don't miss the injuries though. Still have several bikes, but getting to old to enjoy and the time spent "mending" from injuries has greatly increased.

Wasn’t that power band on the YZ awesome!

It was wicked scary, especially after being modified. It was so lightweight and fast. It was stolen though.

I had an arctic cat 2 stroke and wore the wheels off it. I still have it as well as my Sears allstate a 1954 Vespa a 62 Lambretta a 72 Motoguzzi and my Yamaha 80 I kept them all!

I loved three wheelers! I had several of those as well and raced them too. :-) My favorite was my 1986 Honda ATC 250R (with a bunch of mods).

That's right! They'd never let anyone else on it! Had two buddies that own 'crates' . At least, I thought they were buddies...

Loved those 85-86 250R's. :headbang:

This is what my "pride & joy" looked like. I was lucky to have it.
Tell me about it------------------------mine only had 24" wheels.:laughing7:
