I agree.
I wonder what makes him so sure there is gold in the cavern?
surely there would be a way to drill the lower end, and drain it.
very dangerous dive, having no idea what is inside.
How much silt washed in? it may be full at that point, if he only would have kept his casing a few feet above the ground.....

I didn't care for it,their missing something like... "logic". Why enter that massive cave system where its flooded with water and Zero visibility.Find a place to enter where its not flooded, would be a good start. :icon_scratch::dontknow:???

Is the show along the lines of skin walker ranch? If so I'll pass......will also pass if the same narrator is used as the one on the hoax island show...

Totally legit...

Everytime I run sluices, I only get singular rounded nuggets. Yep, never fines or flakes, just pickers. Maybe it's the shiny new pan he used?

I also like to scribble in fault lines on maps when I want to find gold in that particular spot. Proven to be 10-20x more effective than 'traditional' methods.

Its a really a cheap knock off of the "Oak Island format". Find a hole on a private property speculate crap about it. Build a cult following about it.

Gee after all the production companies that had been haunting of treasurenet all these last few years. And all this they can come up with? Some producers must of snorted a couple of lines to come up with this one?

History and discovery channel has gone beyond being a joke to an outright embarrassment.

No wonder real treasure hunters avoid them like the plague.

I lost faith in this show early on when the "experts" tried using a Water-Drone Camera's MOTOR to clear out the silt. They must be LOADED with funds to attempt sending that down to clear it out. Yes, it proved futile, but still hard to figure out why anyone would do that to such an expensive piece of equipment.

I hear all you na sayers, and I'm bettin' the ranch you'll be watching next week.
Same bunch talking 'bout Oak Island.
You loose; go Fish
Monday morning quarter backs, never played the game, my guess. A friend of mine who was pretty read up on Civil War history, went to see a movie about the Civil War and complained about the authenticity of said movie. I asked, "were you entertained?' "Yes",was his reply. SOOOO, whatcha' complaining about, that's what movies and TV do.

- Well, I won't speak for my fellow TreasureNet associates, but I pulled the rip-cord before the first episode concluded.

- I did lose, you're right about that; approximately 38 minutes of time, as an estimate. I also have some residual redness from non-stop facepalming but that will subside soon.

- Now, by 'game', are you referring to exploration and mining? That's a bit presumptuous on this forum, no?

- I totally get the entertainment angle, and most us adult types are experienced enough to see where reality and "reality" diverge. What actually bothers me most is that we've brought up an entire generation on junk-food like this under the false monikers of 'science', 'discovery' and 'history'.

Now, unless they get some legit footage of the Skinwalker boosting his shiny new excavator or them 'blind' frogs doing a Broadway inspired chorus line (with top hats and canes, of course), I will maintain my position that this production neither entertains nor educates; whereas the only exercise it truly provides, is that of frustration.

But hey, as some say on the Internets: YMMV, TETO, NSOMB, TTYL.

DVR'd it, and just watched the first episode..

Initially I was thinking it was Oak Island with a bit of mysticism
tossed in. I know nothing of Skinwalker Ranch, so can't relate
that that part.

Then, they bring in their geologist...Eric Drummond, of Ice Cold
Gold fame. Not a word was said about the ICG show he did, nor
did he mention anything about it when he gave his "bio"; all he
said was he did mineral and oil exploration for companies.

As for the coin they dredged up, not a word mentioned about
what coin it was, a date, etc. Also, what would a heavy coin
be doing sitting in silt?

Recorded two episodes, but doubt I'll watch the second, or
anything beyond that.

Good catch DD I thought Eric sounded familiar he had a big falling out with the Feldman's in that show. The coin is very curious not much said about it, and the structure was built and then flooded strange doings. going on.
