I should keep this a secret,but here's the plan. I'm going change my name, open a new account,as a new member,and get beginners luck all over again .
Think about it. We've had 3 new members get dream scores or boxes this week alone.
I don't know why this is but, I had a bit of beginners luck when I first started out, and my son Scooba on his first and second road trips scored an unbelieveable amount of silver. So much in fact that although he never lies,I had to see it for myself .
Who else has had beginners luck say within their first month of CRHing?
I'll bet that there are quite a few of us.

Even though I was a first time poster on this site, I am not new to CRHing. My dream box came after 88 boxes searched. My best score was 45 keepers before that dream box. Im one of the fee that didn't get to experience beginners luck.

Some of us do 88 boxes in 2 months...... lol. Still sort of a beginner. Fact is, it's pretty simple. If your the only person searching your area and you just started doing it, (CRH) well then, Pretty good chance your gonna find some silver right out the box, pun intended.

I did pretty good 4.5 years ago when I started and found lots of silver the first couple of months cold calling. Then I discoverd boxes. (I was not aware of this site till 2 years into CRH) The 2nd or third week ordering boxes, I hit my first DREAM BOX and it was a doozy. 2 weeks later hit another and it has trailed off ever since.

So newbies are supposed to find Dream Boxes Is this in the CRH Society Manual or By-Laws? I am just wondering because if I am due for a dream box or two I haven't received mine yet -- how long does it usually take I will adopt your strategy after I discover my first dream box!!!

I didn't get my first dream box until this year. Hundreds of boxes after I started. It was just a couple of keepers over the 100 mark and far less than I've gotten in solid roll road trips.

I think everyone gets one eventually. You may get yours on your next pickup. You never know.

I really hope you are right Rich, that would be awesome and about double my take on the 45 boxes I have opened so far! If you keep stats, how many dream boxes have you had and how many boxes have you opened? What was your biggest dream box?

I don't keep records of how many boxes I've done in the past 23 months. Without searching my past posts where I could get accurate info,I'd have to take a guess that I've searched 600- 700 + half dollar boxes.
As far as dream boxes go,if 100 keepers is considered a dream box, then I've only gotten one. As I recall it had 103 keepers,mostly 40%ers.

i'm super new, knew of the idea of coil rolls but never bothered. Bored as hell today figured I'd call all my branches and see what they had. No one had any that warranted visiting but one had 160.00 bucks worth.

Well here's to add to your theory. I can take pics if necessary and this doesn't seem worth making up but i pulled...out of 16 rolls mind you, 65 40's and 1 90...66coins. 33 face. I was pretty floored. Needless to say i'm ridiculously hooked and i know this was a big, unlikely to repeat hitter but for good measure i ordered 2 boxes.

There you go beginners luck ! Great score Your story is absolutely believeable. Road trips can get you those good scores.
