When I came in the house yesterday I heard "Watch the glass!" And this frame my Dad gave me was laying on the floor with the glass shattered. So I took the broom and cleaned up the floor and took the frame out to the burning barrel and prayed that when I tipped it over to dump out the shattered glass that the glue holding in the broken points would hold firm as Dad made this when I was a kid. Thankfully the points did all stay in place. I guess it gives me the opportunity to show it in grand detail.

Nice way to show the heart breakers. Glad it stayed intact after shattering the glass. Maybe you can change it to a plastic instead of glass for the cover.

Sorry Rock, I would choose glass over plastic any day.
Too much static electricity magnetism with plastic, not to mention scratches.

Glad a tragedy was averted, thanks to Dad craftsmanship. It is an even better photo opportunity, without the hard to photograph through glass effect. Are you gonna bust out the glass on all your frames now? 8-)

Did all the broken finds come from your land or around you ?

No monsterrack, not on this place, but I would say mostly in S.D. and some Wy. The family spent lots weekends, and lots of years traipsing around. Lots of memories too. And since I was young, I don't really know where all we went. But Dad seems to remember where he picked up every rock. He is 89. Amazing!
