well I have been after these for several years as they have a draw on the ones they remove. So far I have not been drawn but my day will come. I would love to see them in their wild habitat

incredibly beautiful! My mom had adopted a mustang when she was a teenager and I love to hear the stories of her and Chief. I also had a horse named Chief growing up but mine was not a mustang. I have not seen the Kiger Mustangs in their natural habitat although on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation I have seen many of their wild horses. I do hope you get drawn for one! How exciting would THAT be?!!

Yes it would be a dream for me. I believe these horses at one time roamed here in florida wild too.

Never heard of a Kiger mustang, must be a uniquely Oregonian breed. Must have moss growing in its mane. hehehehe And mushrooms in its ears. The high desert of Eastern Oregon is gorgeous, I much prefer it to the damper coast. Burns, Oregon is not much of a town, but it's like an oasis when you're on the road and nothing else is around for 80 miles in any direction. Come on out to Oregon, BEF, and I'll find a way to get up there myself. I'd like to meet you and the Oregon members.

Looks like it is official...I can't go. My daughter is having her baby and I am flying to PA to be with her during that time.

That sounds familiar, though I'm hoping the moss clears up now that sun is starting to make regular appearances. Heck, the mushrooms are edible and rather nice, so can't complain there. Oh wait, you were talking about horses, not Oregonians in general...

I'd like to make the trip, but we finally had our offer on the new building accepted, so if everything goes to plan I may be swamped with trying to get our shop opened up.

Nope, not working with Wanda anymore but I do still hear from her a lot and get to see her. I have been doing okay...God is good, all my bills are paid and I have not had to do without. Considering I was pretty much living paycheck to paycheck when I was working and have been gone for almost two months I would say He is taking pretty good care of me! I sure appreciate the prayers of course! You are a sweetie! ~hugs~

Yeah, back to law enforcement....seems like that is where I am getting the most leads for work. lol At least now if I do it, I will not be doing the single mom thing and workin the icky shifts at least!

I am not sure if there is a firm date or not or even if it is going to happen now....seems everyone has either disappeared or is going to be busy. I would step up and get the thing planned but sure enough if I did then I would end up with a job that would keep me from finishing what I started so I am hesitant to try to take it over at this point. Maybe we will just have to have a bunch of mini hunts....hunt with TT when she is up here, hunt with Bo when he can go.....sure enough find time to hunt if anyone else wants to come out this way too! If David and I plan a trip someplace we will be sure to get the invite out for others to join us!

Good luck on the job hunt, I've been going through it myself here lately. Finally took a job a few weeks back, but I'm still doing interviews here and there. One place I showed up at this afternoon for an interview wanted me to go to work tonight, no interview! Ah well, no can do. I just got off a shift and I'm a single parent.

There's plenty of work in my field all the time. I never get the folks who say there is no work to be had...

You'll get back to work soon hun- there's plenty out there for positive people like yourself, no worries!

I did that single parent thing for a lot of years. I know how that one is and when it comes to taking a job it sure can make a difference. I don't believe I even know what line of work you are in but I am glad there is plenty of work for you. There have been hundreds of people laid off in this area over the last couple of months so it makes competitition for what work there is out there a bit larger. lol It will work out though. Like I said, I have not had to do without thus far and considering I have been without full time work for two months I am pretty blessed! Helps that I don't do credit and I despise shopping I guess! rofl

I am all for us getting together this season for sure! Even if it is a fairly small informal like get together. I just really want to meet folks and do some stuff together! Such fun!!
