I know there has to be a few that have worked artifacts that are strange and you dont know what the heck they are. I have been finding some different types of tools that I just dont know for sure what they were used for. Ill show mine then you can add yours. Id like to see the odd ones everyone has. PLEASE NO ROCKS. Thanks everyone.

I love the sound of a loon ..reminds me of a foggy morning on a wilderness lake.

I crawled into the back of a rock shelter where a small spring was. I did not have my digger so grabbed a moss covered rock to scoop out the little spring. I did not realize the rock I was digging with was a worked artifact. Once the moss fell off of it I saw a guy dancing with a wolf or bear skin cape with ears on it like he was dancing bent over. Maybe it is just my imagination but to me every time I see this piece that is what I think. Strange artifact. Am sure it is just natural but maybe they say it as well in the fire light. Found 08-1992.

Here is one I forgot about.. its a multi spurred graver with coloration in the stone that looks just like a duck head..perfectly centered as if on purpose.
I have to imagine the maker saw this.... its right there in black and white..LOL.

It is obviously a scraper...with an angle...and a bullseye. probably what was left when usable material was all removed.

The piece that was busted out of the middle sure would have made a fine looking point or something.
