Poweball 800 Million

[worldtalker]

Is the Lamborghini's trunk big enough for a metal detector?

Also, I'd have to buy a yacht just to have a place to put my 1.4M submarine. Dragon - DeepFlight - Advanced Personal Submarines and Undersea Technology

Mind as well buy two in case one leaks.

They all leak.

[toolmanbutch]

Heck I would welcome all new friends and I would even pose naked for a picture.

Who ever wins will suddenly have a lot of "friends & family", most of which they have never, don't want to know, and won't go away. I hope the winner(s) have planned well before they step into the spot light.
Our state requires your name be made public & they take a picture of you.

[toolmanbutch]

Well if you really don't want anything then why would you want to get richer. Give me your winnings. I want a lot

well,i really do not want anything, and love what i have, but im still going to buy a ticket or two.maybe i could get richer.

[Limitool]

The border machines are working a little harder as the Canadians are going over to buy tickets. BECAUSE WE DO NOT PAY TAXES ON LOTTERY WINNINGS With the exchange rates right now the lottery is worth 2.1 billion Canadian.

After I win I shall be addressed as Mr. Limitool....

And... pepperj, listen.... I think I'm your long lost twin brother and I'm really a Canadian citizenship. I want you to get the ball rolling on this, find our mother, file some papers and get'er done ASAP buddy! We'll work something out later bro....

[Msbeepbeep]

I was thinking about how miserable that would be. Biggest lottery winner in the world. you couldn't ever hide. You'd literally have to hole up in a gated community for a while... or live on a yacht... Wait. Maybe that's not so miserable.

But... I don't think I could get nearly as excited about a 2 gram 14K ring while metal detecting. That would ruin the hobby for me, knowing I had $400M in a bank account drawing interest. I'd have to find something else to do to entertain myself. Probably take up teaching again.

Now that would be a real challenge, teaching now days!
At lest you could afford to pay them to learn, might work, they have tried just about everything else.

I really don't know what I would do if I won, there' s the obvious, pay bills, etc. Vacation maybe, but where? You'd practically need security everywhere you go. You'd have to shop on line.

[rginn]

Well I hope somebody wins cause I'm tired of throwin money away in this lottery pool at work. I suppose if I did win my first concern would be security. I would say nothin to nobody until I got my family far away from here to a safe location. It would be fun to stay at work for a while just to rub it in on all the losers, but I would have it set up to make a quick fade out when I claimed the money. The only really fun thing I would get out of it would be to walk into my bank with a check for millions and tell them to deposit that in checking and I would like a million cash back. (You don't wanna do that, but it would be fun to see the looks on their faces.)

You can claim as a trust and hire a lawyer to claim for you and remain anonymous.

[Msbeepbeep]

Yes, absolutely that's the way it would have to be done.
You would need a lawyer you can trust too.
All that would require a little time to set up.
Also they review video of the time frame when the ticket was sold. So they have a pretty good idea what you look like.

I won't be losing any sleep tonight over the drawing either.

[ivan salis]

if a outside of America person hits it the govt will with hold 40% in taxes before they pay it out --to a outside of America account ... the canadain govt mght not tax ..but America sure will

[pepperj]

MAN... I LOVE IT when foreigners voluntarily tax themselves by giving the USA their lottery ticket purchase money.

Trust me, you're paying taxes. Just not on the winnings. LOL

Oh we pay our fare share of taxes, lottery is zero-then the interest earned is taxed. Sin taxes are some of highest in the western world.
I have no problem with folks loading up their cards and spending cash for the lotto purchases over the line, everyone is looking for that dream to come true.

Interesting that you say that as many wealthy folks detect and get excited over the finds still. I was trying to think of an example of who is pretty well off and the one that comes to mind is Bill Wyman net worth 80 million, detects, and sells them also so the passion must be there. Going back to teaching? With the winnings you could set up a trust/bursary for kids that have a passion to learn the subject that you're teaching.

Well hell.... if this is true maybe I'm not a Canadian or perrerj's long lost twin. I was just kinda hoping / wishing because of no Canadian tax. I gotta regroup now.

Sure the trunk of the Lambo SUV is!

[Msbeepbeep]

No fears, detectors come apart for easy transport.

[pepperj]

If somebody wins could you just make a better detector, heck with that kind of money one would think that there is a chance of building a winner.

[Msbeepbeep]

Well 4 hours left, I think there will be more than one winning ticket, maybe 3, in 3 different states. What state or states do you think the winners will come from?
Just heard on the TV you should not spend the money right away, invest it and spend the intetest.

[clv]

Well I hope I can survive the heat attack when my number is called, I want a chance to have some fun with it be for my wife goes and buys that dumb horse ranch. Me I am going to buy that condo on the beach. The whole condo building, and have it remodeled into my personal palace.

I TOLD YOU MISS BEEPBEEP ALREADY... I've bought several tickets and used the SAME number. This lowers my tax rate.... and as long as the OTHER folks "play" along everything will work out just right. It's a done deal.... I'm finding a movie to watch soon, fall asleep and take care of business tomorrow morning.... It's all arranged already....

[Peyton Manning]

I just hope someone I know wins it ( NO not cause I want any)

[jamey]

i guess if i did win i could give you some toolmanbutch, but i do not think it would make you happy,if you want everything you will never be happy.being able to give instead of take is so much better.my two kids taught me this.
