It's easy to lose focus as I did on the trail. Good thing it was soft leaves and dirt for me. Be careful, stay healthy and happy holidays! Thanks again!!

Victor, you are truly a member of the 1%'er club here, one who is a true miner. I appreciate everything you post and go thru and look forward to your pending season. You tried new stuff this year and it obviously paid off. Keep it up!:notworthy:

Victor...it's times like these where you really need to spend some time gathering info from all available sources for a vehicle.

"In times of need those who seek shall succeed."*

*something I just thought up but it works.
Good luck and heavy pans.

Really enjoyed the pics & story. Thanks for sharing!

Question for ya marshall, Do you not classify your material due to the excessive clay clumps? Was wondering if i ever come out that way if it would hinder or hurt to classify my material.

Classifying never hurts.. More depends on what kind of prospecting you will be engaged in.. For me I often find myself often on the move and with this in mind I try to keep my load as practical as possible. I am also a pretty decent panner so I can run thru a decent amount of material pretty quickly.

Glad you found a truck and that you're on your way to a successful season. I enjoyed watching you progress with diving for gold last year and can't wait to see how you do this season. I share your frustration on the laws, agencies and how they are enforced. I hope you got something in writing from the individual who said ok. That said, the best source I have found to learn about mining law is available right here at TN thanks to Bejay.

Good luck Victor! Stay safe too!

I looked after I read your post Victor and I can't find anything against it really. Other than on filing new claims. No motor or equipment restrictions. It even says for claim owners that they may carry on with what ever activity they are allowed on other public lands. There is a certain 1/4 mile buffer on either side of the waterway on the "Wild" rivers. But, I cant find anything against motors specifically. If you want I can send you links if you feel any would help I'm sure you've looked I did a pretty basic search.
