From what I have read the brother is also an A-hole. If you look at the perp's record...posted a few posts back....he has multiple felonies that should, key word should, put him away for a long time. Nope. Free as a bird. If he has a gun or 2, in SC that is a federal case. 5 years is usually the sentence. Do the local LEO's know? Well yeh. Do they do anything? well no.
If the Oath Keepers decide to help, but the perp is fearless (meth) or stupid (meth) he might not be intimidated by them. He should, and might learn why the hard way. Morris Morgan seems to get away with way to much!!

I told brad I'd help but he needs to fly me out there, and remove all chiggers and ticks.

Hoping all is well with you and family. I'm pretty sure if the Oathkeepers make a showing, the issue will be resolved fairly quickly.
I personally know a few of these men/women and they are the best.
And know this, justice will be served. You have MANY friends here on T-Net, some are very good friends from what I read.
As always, wishing and hoping for a just resolution to this unbelievable issue.

Terri, Steve and Tabitha,

Once I have shipped the last remaining items sold/selling on eBay and if nothing has been resolved, I will load up and be on my way there, that is, if you all are okay with it. If the Over-Sheriff or whatever he is called there and/or the head Investigator has taken no action by mid-week of this coming week and no one with the Oath Keepers has showed up, then I will be traveling there, if it is okay with you all. You all have lived in fear long enough without any actions from the local LE and it is long past the time to put the fear of God in this felon! That does not mean that I will go after him. It just means that I will make my presence known, that I am armed and that I will be guarding you all whether coming or going or taking care of yard work which includes mowing. If the felon, decides to take shots at you all or me at any time, then in defense, he will be met by a barrage of return fire.

Well on the bright side, with the amount of non action by the police department at least if you have to put this guy down because of self defense your life won't be turned upside down because the police won't give a crap apparently. Really strange and I bet the feds would be really interested in this guy and that police department. I agree on raising a stink at all social media outlets possible. News stations and such. If the local police can't do their job, they will be forced to with enough outside pressure and possible internal investigation.

So true if a person owns a pot and window they'll be knocking on the door because there's a boost for the local economy as fines, court costs, lawyers, so it's all good. There's only expenses when it comes to a perp like MM, some of our LE call them air robbers (because they steal the air we all breath)

While this will be a planned trip, it is in no way being planned as vengeance or retribution. It is only a trip to protect and defend Terri, Steve and Tabitha, so that they can go about their normal daily routines, errands, yard work and treasure hunting/rock hounding/Gold prospecting if they wish to do so without fear.

It's great to hear that you're taking a road trip to help out with the watch, I guess there'll be nothing better than sitting on a rock chewing on a piece of jerky drinking a morning coffee and having a calm chat with friends as they enjoy their lives as they planned on in the first place.

Good idea. But this thread is a bit 'messy' in terms of lots of irrelevant words and distractions for someone to wade through. For example, my posts probably wouldn't help that person. I am not a party and contribute no facts about the incident.

Perhaps a simple statement of the facts. The victims of all the events, the perp, and the LE response. Obviously anyone serious enough and powerful enough will be talking with the victims first, then the sheriff. They might want to contact the perp, but not so sure that is a good idea.

My understanding is the OP has already been putting this out there, or at least her attorney should be doing something. Probably the most this group from TN can do is add some pressure by making inquiries to relevant parties to point out that the world is watching. Fill enough inboxes with enough new email addy's on the topic and even the king must pay heed.

What I plan to do is not premeditated anymore than a Guard working at a Bank or high end Jewelry Store or for Brinks Armored Car Service! I only plan to protect and defend Terri, Steve and Tabitha so that they can get along with their lives and not be in fear. If the felon decides to shoot at any of us, I will only return fire in defense of Terri's, Steve's and Tabitha's lives as well as my own. Besides, a few well placed, non-life threatening shots can usually go a long way in deterring further attempts by the perp to harm Terri, Steve, Tabitha or myself!

I just don't see how this guy is still a free man. He's either buddies with the local LE or he's a snitch who's ratting out the competition for the cops. No way should he have walked away from a lot of those charges.
