I persuaded this vet to ride the golf cart with me. I think he thought I was just trying to be nice. In reality, I was going for the cake.

Just wanted to let you guys/gals know that this event and the one in the fall is open to Purple Heart recipients or civilian equivalent. All you need to do is go to the website in my signature and fill out an application. They also take some who struggle with PTSD.
