One of my brothers who was a lifelong avid hunter used to make sausages from venison and moose meat. Don't know if you make sausage or not but it's worth a shot.

I actually have a couple of cookbooks one for various sausage recipes and another for charcuterie.

Wow.....hadnt herd anything, but it wouldnt surprise me !! Ill check it out tomorrow. Im off to mahi mahi land for the third day in a row. Been fishing in the morning and snorkeling in the afternoon. I have been out in the water so much that I just come home and eat and go to bed and then get up and go do it again. Havent had time to even look at the news. Tomorrow I should have off....I hope. Alright see ya later people im off to fish right now.

You're making me jealous I haven't had those since I was a kid. I remember digging them along the ocean when I was a kid.

Once I was a bit to anxious and used my hands to dig instead of a shovel and managed to give myself a nice cut on the finger courtesy of a razor clam....lol.

Well easier said than done...lol. I grew up in New Brunswick near the ocean so digging soft shell clams was easy to do.

No salt water in Montreal where I live and since the soft shell clams don't have a long shelf life not easy to find at fish market either.
I'll have to check around though.
