Well amigos I am lost with this new format, really liked the old one and not sure what was so wrong with it.
PS and now there is no "Preview" ability for our posts either? I like to always preview it to see that it isn't all in one giant paragraph or full of mistakes, but if we can't have that ability I guess I can live with that too.

Mrs O, if you go to "Go Advanced" you get a preview, no idea why they call it go advanced rather than preview though....

Use to be you could tell who was reading a thread and who was in a specific forum, that is gone now as well..

I am with Tin pan !!!!!!! they took the best treasure site in the world , Paid lord knows what for it ........ it was a Cadillac then they changed it into a Volkswagen . All of this change ------ kind of like the change we had in government - guess what ? most people don't like it either........................ 100% on the money. It's like a small home town pizza place that made the best kick a$$ pizza ever and were bought out, recipes changed, and the business franchised across the state to try and make lots of money. Now people in that small town don't really care where they get their pizza because it's pretty much all the same wherever they go , and with such a drop in business that little place that started it all has shut the door. I do the small business thing myself, well very small, and I tell you after spending the last 10 years of learning what best works for me it would scare the heck out of me to one day flip it on its head and hope it worked out. That's basically what I think has happened here and I really hope the strategy pays off because no one wins if it doesn't. I think I would have really hated the change if it wasn't for being a member of a fairly similar board for about a year and a half now. That said, I always thought that place wasn't the best to navigate and I haven't spent a single minute to try to figure out all the features, notifications, friends thing, likes, etc. etc. etc. To me that's just like the person who messes with settings and programs with a detector, which is very far from how I am. Simple and what works, is what works for me, and that's not just detecting, and forums, it's most other things in life too. I figure if I just limit my posts to maybe three forums on here that will be good enough for me.

Hola amigo Treasure_Hunter, this is Mr O not Mrs and thanks for the tip, as I said I am lost with this format, and in this reply I see it has the preview ability. So perhaps things are improving?

I am having a heck of a time trying to find the various discussions I participated in and was interested in following, so am signing out for now, hope to see some more changes the next time I visit. We have some additional utilities we can install to keep spammers out but I wanted to hold off on installing them for a few days as they can make member registrations (and password resets, which we'll be getting alot of for a few days) harder. So for now I think the best thing is to report them, we'll get rid of them right away. Then after a week or two of the new software we can put the utilities in place and that should really cut down on them.

I haven't been a member very long, there were a couple things I was not fond of in the old format, but there are so many things I don't like in this format that I can't remember what I didn't like in the old format, and I am already looking elsewhere for an easier to use site. I don't need more irritation, I can irritate myself enough without outside help. I don't enjoy coming here anymore.

The old format was easy to use, this is NOT, and adding more will make it worse. Change is not better when the existing was already working smoothly. If it isn't broken, don't fix it. The Democrats should learn that lesson.

I used this website because it had the easiest format to view and navigate, not anymore. If someone would start a site with the old format of t net they would have a lot of members jump over from here. I have found nothing on here that is more user friendly. New owners just took a big step backward. Please go back to old format before some one else does. This would be a great opprutunity for one of the existing treasure sites to pick up t nets old format and become a huge success. I want to stay here. How can this be called an upgrade if it made it harder to view and navigate? Please go back to the old format.
