Rev War #11

[Iron Patch]

Out to dig some old targets with Ironhorse today. A couple of old favorite fields was on the agenda and they gave up a few finds. Got another button but I think this is where it ends, maybe not my digging quite yet, but don't really have too many viable places right now to pop another Rev War button. This makes 11 for the year, and 10 the last 8 weeks, so I'm pretty happy with the total. I would really like one more though so won't give up yet.

Also got a nice 1816 Brock token, a George II Hibernia, and a broken piece of a very early religious medal. Too bad it's not complete. Was a good day out!

What happened with the Brock Token for being so nice? Congrats on the #11 button. Geez going to have to get a new set of eyes soon because the pic. looked like says "DIG"

Yeah that happens about once every 100 coppers!

you could have had an even bigger day but that's a pretty big day as it is!
That token must have been one of the ones that the plough hauled up, it looks like it was in a deep hole a long time
And here's the kicker, I think I found the other half of that medal....the very first time we hunted there,,,was it about 8 years ago?

I like the Brock Token. Reminds me of the time I climbed to he top of the Brock monument. It gets pretty tight at the top of that tower

I'll give you your missing piece next time we're out. I was pretty sure it was like the one you dug... but didn't think it was the other piece!

Did you find your piece where we started today, or where the iron was pretty quiet?

it came from quiet iron lol
I thought it was part of the earlier site

I dug my piece on that side too, but in the iron that extends towards the other site, and near the bottom of it. There's no doubt an earlier site is there because my Douzain was dug close too. Another French house that was parallel with the one in the other field makes sense.
