Sharing my grief this past evening. Stuck on ridge and then....

GOOD MORNING ALL

If you really love someone and haven't told them so for awhile do it TODAY please. Please do it in memory of my 35 year old daughter and my pre-teen grandson. I hadn't talked or texted with her for several weeks. In Nashville TN. last night my daughter Kristi and her son Carter were on I-65. A SUV rolled over in front of them. They both got out to check on the people and were then struck by a semi. I haven't slept all night and I'm out of tears for the moment. And to make matters worse I'm stuck on this damn ridge top with 2" of ice everywhere. My car is sideways and stuck on the road also.

I know there's nothing any of you can do but I'd feel better if I knew some of you touched base with someone this morning that you really love or haven't touched base with lately. Please do what I didn't do... Do it in memory of Kristi and Carter please.... Brad

Brad, My thoughts are with you and your family. I cannot imagine losing a child and grandchild in the same instant. They lost their lives helping others. Helping someone else in need is not always an automatic reaction but one that has been taught to them. Please take some solace in knowing that you taught her well and she in turn taught her son the same values. Do not grieve for what you did not do, instead hold your head high for those things that you did do.
Within the hour all my children will hear that I love them.

That is a very difficult loss. There are no words, but you have everyone's loving thoughts and prayers.
I Communicated with 4 of my 5 kids yesterday.

Not sure but maybe something with cleated treads like earth moving equipment maybe able to navigate the icy roads, if someone you know has it.
