She rang up like a silver dime. You can see why :)

It was like the twilight zone seeing that big rim under the roots and dirt.

I hunted for a long time and then headed back to the car, and I just trusted my instincts to hunt right where this half dollar was.

Thanks for looking.

Also, she’s weights 8.3 grams

Thats Beyond Cool !:)

Wow I want one of those !! Never seen one. Beautiful piece !! Congrats.

Truly a unique find there mate. Looks to be intact just as it was lost. Very COOL indeed. Thanks for sharing.:headbang:

THANKS!

I looked for a moment for the chain. Also, it was under a nice cluster of roots, so it couldn’t have been that recent of a drop.

The site is an old golf course :)

My girlfriend says it’s my best find - she likes jewelry and stuff though :)

WOW Your Diet Half was cut out using a diamond wire. This was very popular and craft and flea marts in the 70's. I believe I still have one that I received as a child. The artist would drill a small hole and insert the wire and bus out the hollow sections right before your eyes. Who could resist one of these babies?

That's beautiful I would put it in a bezel and wear it around my neck .. wow

It really brings out her eyes hahaha

thats a really cool find!

And as the artist, you get payed to collect junk silver as the byproduct.

Anyone need this done to their silver? I work for free lol

This is so amazing! I have one of these that I bought at a store 25 years ago. I thought it was so cool and what precision and time it must have taken to do this. Unreal

That’s a pretty cool find. I wonder what someone would say if you tried to spend it?
