Congrats on the SLQ! I've only dug one so far and it was in similar shape to yours. I'm like you.....condition means nothing if you recover it IMO.

I've only found one of those bad girls in 12 years of detecting - also no date - really happy to get it ! What a lot of people don't know is that these quarters were only minted from 1916 - 1930, that is a really short mintage !!! Anybody who finds one has bragging rights in my opinion.

I had to sit down after I found my first.........dug a strong signal wheatie 5 inches down next to a clothes line post. There she was on the side of the plug..........took my breath away. Great job on that bucket lister!!

Hey I wish I had a good spot to bring you at the moment , but they changed the rules at my 4 year honey hole in my name. If you have a spot I’m all yours. I can detect anytime anywhere you just let me know. I’m serious.
