Don't kid yourself, there are "waves" of people already hunting for silver and there are pages and pages of videos on youtube showing people step by step how to coin roll hunt. If someone else wants to give it a try why must some people feel the need to try to get rid of them or call them "competition?" Why can't this be a fun hobby for everyone?

Because If "everyone" were doing it, it wouldnt be worth doing for very much longer. You can say whatever you want, but the more people who do this, the less silver you will find. (seems obvious). It will get to a point, that the amount of new people doing this, will no longer be outweighed by the amount of silver making its way back into the wild.
As far as the marking coins dilemma... who gives a sh*t. Everyone should quit crying about what others are doing, so you found a marked keeper, and you didnt want it. Wow, keep CRH'ing, and find another one-that isnt marked.
And while I'm at it.... I cant say there are very many things about what other people do that really get me... CRH'ing videos on youtube make me want to water-board the retards who put them there-until they drown. My god, is there anything that makes less sense than telling the world about one of the very few "lucrative" hobbies out there? I cant think of anything that could possibly ruin this hobby for everyone faster than posting videos on youtube, and other places online where hundreds or thousands of people every day can unkwnowingly "stumble" onto their new favorite hobby, just because some saint feels like sharing the best hobby ever with all the sheep. I'm glad it makes them feel better, like they are doing the world a favor or something..... F'ing Idiots. Quit posting CRH'ing videos online.
It's the greedy, selfish, arrogant attitudes like this that really make me sick. I'd hope the majority of people who coin roll hunt are not like this, but I'm beginning to wonder. TheRockDoc and GimmeSomeSilver you both were "new" to this at one point. You didn't invent this hobby. You weren't the first ones to the party. But yet now that you are involved in it, somehow you both have the attitude that you should be the only ones doing it. For some selfish reason you both are the only ones who can enjoy it. The rest of us are just taking all your silver away. You both don't make the hobby any more fun, because for people like you both, it isn't a hobby. It's a selfish, self-centered compulsion.
I look at some of the big finds that people post on here, and it makes we want to search more. I watch some of the videos on youtube and it makes me want to search more. Then I look at how people like you two act, and it is just repulsive to me. Honestly, it make me hope that you get flooded in your area with more and more coin roll hunters. We all were "new" to this at one point, and I'm sure there were others that wanted us out out the way so they could be greedy and selfish. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, does that make it OK for you both to continue the same behavior? You're not the only ones out there, and you never will be. Respect and Courtesy shouldn't be forgotten.
Hey Farchy. I appreciate your intense passion for reaching out, respecting, loving, and coddling the newbies... Let me clarify. I have no problems with information out there for a newbie to find. I will be the first to say that Tnet helped me, inspired me, and helped me jump light years ahead as far as the tiny "learning curve" that CRH has... Obviously all that "help" was there for me, and I do not think for one second that It shouldnt be there for the next guy. We are talking about two different things, you are talking about how nice those resources are for someone who CRH's to be able to enjoy, learn from and be inspired by... I am talking about advertising it to the masses hoping somebody will think you are cool for getting them started.. People who have never thought about CRH'ing, but one day, just stumbled completely by accident onto a video posted by some retard who doesnt understand how detremental advertising of this hobby is to this hobby. Dont flatter yourself by calling me and others "greedy"-THIS IS AMERICA, A FREE MARKET SOCIETY, WHERE CAPITALISM IS #1... I am an oppurtunist, simply enjoying this great hobby because of someone elses ignorance. This is a hobby that is unlike any other hobby. We arent fishing, sowing, or collecting worthless trinkets and things. We arent playing bingo, musical instruments or collecting rocks. We are pulling silver out of circulation for its "f.v." and we are doing it as fast as possible, because we know if we dont, somebody else will. It is the only profitable hobby I know of. (please help me if there is even one other "hobby" that is a fraction as lucrative as CRH'ing).
We live in a very competitive world, where winning is no longer a matter of status and/or achievement, it is a becomming a matter of survival in case you havent noticed. You can call it greed, I will call it, using what I have been given to get as far as I can go. Hell yeah I want to get further than my competition...
