First and foremost.... Louis Michel Aury DID NOT even have anything to do with this area.

No documentation... myth only

[ARC]

"A document drawn up by the justice of the peace and chief of police of the isles of Santa Catalina and Old Providence reported Aury's death on August 30, 1821, possibly from being thrown by a horse. On September 3 of the same year, the same official made an inventory of Aury's possessions, which he left to his sister Victoire Aury (Madame Dupuis). "

Been digging out the finds posting up a few pics on the Random Picture Thread( maybe more than a few)
Keep thinking I haven't seen this or that, then it appears in another bag or box.
Found another box of things today-actually it had a number of gold and silver coins/jewelry.
Still wondering where things have been squirrelled away.
Bloody packrat I am-I am

Pepper
Take it to your favorite jewelry store ( someone you can trust). I found a diamond ring in a volleyball pit among others there and took it to a buddy is a jewelry store and didn’t get it out of my pocket good and he said NO. But he said it is a good CZ. I think I’ve still got a pic.
