Yes, I remember that site Jim.
It's very generous of you to gift that bell back too, love the look of the handle, it looks very authentic.

Thanks
They've been a great permission, though it's getting a tad beat.
The handle has a brown Linseed oil Beeswax treatment applied to it, leaves a real nice water resistant coating.

bart morning

***ARC is off to go to the mall to see Santa***

I want no more of those black coal things.... they taste horrible... worst cookie i have ever had.

He needs to talk with whoever is making those cookies.... there is some lack of quality control... it needs addressing.

BUT...

More pressing an issue is...

the fact that for almost thirty years of sitting on his lap in the middle of the mall and asking for a bottle of the best Rum for Christmas and never getting one and only these black cookies in some dirty ole sock has got to change.

I think he doesn't speak English that well or something.

It's all I can do is this.(I would of thought you would have been on this one for an ID)

Good morning to the crew. And wishing you all a Merry Christmas during these crazy times.

Morning Bill
It's only crazy if you listen to
Just tune it out with 🎶
Snuggle up with the Mrs and have some quality time.
Not much else we can do about it.

Just looking at the weather and the forecast is a balmy 0 for Sunday.
Might decide on a bush hunt.
Might do a test today when I drop off the bell.
Crazy times warrant crazy hermit lifestyle...

Good morning and Merry Christmas Eve to my favorite pirates.

[WannaDig3687]

Well the bell will be dropped off to my permission.
The lady of the farm was a school teacher and the one room school sat across from there home.
So the bell will be home again, passed to the family that will care for it from tomorrow on.
(PS. Thanks for the suggestions on the finishing.)View attachment 1998276

That turned out very nice! 💕

Thank you-and Thank you for your suggestion as well when i first posted the query up.
I tend not to fuss over things sometimes, but your suggestion did inspire me to try a little harder.
So you're a pirate influencer of sorts.
Hope that Mr WD is on the spoil you rotten version of Xmas this year-at least get you a coffee and rum in bed treatment type morning thing hint/hint.....
