Well that spot was a spot an old man told me about... he was a dealer at a flea market... one day he flags me down and shows me 3 cobs he claims to have gotten from there.

They had white coral crust on em.

I have a good feeling about a certain spot.....many people have been sitting in the shallow water..... some losing there gold im sure. Sometimes when I hunt here I can here peoples jewelry clanging, and clinking underwater !! Gets me circling like a shark !!

THAR !!!! The GOLD IT GLOWS ! ! !

[Blak bart]

We all compete on this sand bar.....on Mondays its not uncommon to see 3-4 of us working this spot for fresh drops.....I get gold here 90% of my hunts....you just have to keep pounding until the gold comes...its there because every weekend there's a large crowd, and its been going on full blast since the early 90s !! My generation built this spot and put it on the map.....we were the generation that made the sand bar lifestyle, and now my family owns a successful brewery/distillery marketed and based on this lifestyle....are best selling beer is called "sand bar sunday" . Sometime during the summer ill get on this spot good.....when your the king of the sand bar, and your the one getting the gold first and every time you know your beating the competition to the spot and it feels good to be the king !! Im off my timing, and after returning from the bahamas others have beat me to the punch....just holes, and no targets in the swim holes. Also one of the big you tube guys has been filming in a couple of my spots....he is trying to keep it secret, but I recognize both spots from his last vids....he's happy with apple watches and doesn't seem to be getting the gold in the videos... thank God!! Ill team up with islamorada mark, and we will get on top of the spots and crush it early before anyone knows what happened. a few weeks like this and it badly discourages the others....they get there and we are already leaving....they will give it up for a few weeks and we get it to ourselves !!

..... not to sure...some would work for trout, bass, crappie, small mouth, maybe peacock bass.....small fish species.

Mornin all.

Sure Bart. The stuff I nab on gnats and tiny fake bugs and look forward to eating, you'd use for bait!

[Blak bart]

I just glide up in my kyak and muscle right in....most times people feed me and give me beers....then I slide out wearing there gold !! Wooo hooo !! King of the sand bar !!

The big hunt is around the corner.....heading over to harbor island bahamas !! Most of the time im working out of Dunmore town as a kind of home base for marlin tuna and wahoo fishing. I've been coming to this island just about every year for the last 20. I've got alot of old sites, ship wrecks, pirate camps, and resort beaches to hunt here. I have private permissions here that rival any I have in the states. Im going in 2 weeks , and will be there to treasure hunt, and fish for fun and vacation.....im super excited !!

[Blak bart]

Major history here....back to buccaneer days.....calico jack rackaham the pirate burnt Dunmore and sacked it back in the early 1700s, and lord Dunmore had a fortified plantation here !!
