Here's the payscale for farm workers back then about 50 cents per day but they threw in room and board. Probably the sleeping quarters was in the hayloft though....

Found me a good bottle spot.....a mangrove bottle dump. Lots of black glass ales and a bunch of round bottom ballast bottles. Got 2 back packs full !!
